Public Private Partnerships
Public authorities are more and more being challenged by the scarcity of financial means and, at the same time, by the increasing demands on the State. The Public sector increasingly requires efficient organisation in order to survive the tough regional and international competition. New solutions have arisen, involving joint projects between the State and the private sector (Public Private Partnerships – PPP). Successful PPP projects cleverly combine commercial management principles with the specific structural conditions of politics and public administration.
Dr. Balz Hösly combines an economic and political background. Through his experience as former CEO in the private sector as well as in the PPP area, and as a former member and head of a political party in a cantonal parliament, he is able to bridge the gap between these two domains.
Dr. Andreas Landtwing, LL.M., is an experienced insider in communal and cantonal politics and acts as finance administrator of the Corporation Zug. He holds a Swiss expert certificate as a mediator (FHA) and is also certified by the Swiss Bar Association (SAV). His area of expertise lies in guiding negotiations, conciliation discussions and mediation procedures. In addition, he holds a degree in Applied Ethics.
